About Solidogs - Dog Walking Service In Solihull

Solidogs was set up to provide the sort of Professional Dog Walking Service that I would want for my own dog. If I am going to let someone take my dog for a walk, I need to completely trust that they will do their utmost to ensure his well being, safety, health and happiness, and this is what I offer for your dogs.

I have owned and cared for dogs from a very early age, and have experience with a wide range of breeds, and particularly rescue dogs. I have certificates in Caring for the Family Dog, Canine First Aid and am currently doing a Pet Sitters Certificate, all accredited courses from a leading animal care college. I am about to start a degree course in Canine Behaviour and Training. I also do voluntary dog walking for a dog rescue centre, and assist at puppy, junior and adult socialisation classes led by a trainer and behaviourist with over 30 years of experience www.pawsnlearn.co.uk.

Setting up a dog walking business was the obvious thing to do to earn a living whilst studying for my degree. Plus I get to do a job I love!!

There are many reasons to use a dog walker; you may be out at work all day, temporarily unwell or unfit, or elderly and love the companionship of your dog but feel unable to offer them the exercise they really need; these are just a few of the reasons. Dogs left at home alone for long periods, or dogs who don't get enough exercise, can start to show unwanted behaviours such as barking constantly or chewing furniture and other items. Some dogs go on to develop separation anxiety, or simply get very lonely. Wouldn't you if you were home alone 5 days a week?

You are welcome to check out my insurance, police checks, qualifications and references. Please contact me to arrange an initial free consultation (All our contact details are HERE).
